Your first assignment for this page will be to create at least 5 writing prompts that you would like to write about this school year. These prompts can be about anything of your choosing, and will be written about by your classmates as well. Be sure that your suggestions are school appropriate before posting please. If you are not sure ask me, ask me, ask me!!! Your list is going to be used throughout the school year on a daily basis, so be sure to create writing ideas that are meaningful for you. You must come up with at least three original prompts. If you have difficulty generating five see me and I will refer you to a nifty website that can help you along. Good luck!!!

Your first writing assignment is to write about yourself as if you are outside of yourself looking in. If a stranger on the street were to observe you what might they collect. What would they say about the way you look, walk, and act? In order to reflect try to think about a moment as if a stranger is watching you. Examples include might include: riding the bus, in your kitchen through the window, walking down the street, in the classroom, at the grocery store. Place yourself anywhere that you are able to "see" yourself from another person's perspective. In your writing refer to yourself as "she" or "he." Good luck!!!
